When i want install this release RC4 build 1360, Internet explorer wants download install.php and not launch the page.
Install: upload the archive in my dedicated, unzip, copy html folder, renames in www and launch

Hi,

kind thanks for this bug report.
As our Testers have made installation after installation this bug isn't reported until now.

The only way I think it could happen is, that the mimetype isn't sent correct. So I will have a look at.

I wanted it to do this evening - but the work on AUC take more time as planned.

Ok ... was a heavy bug.

I echoed the favicon.ico BEFORE I echoed the header. Changed to include favicon in header variable so it is echoed on the right place.

you have test multiple times? because in internet explorer I have the same probleme. Sometimes it works but we can not go to step 2.

Ok .. the load of theme.php was on a wrong place .. done during bug fix before ... corrected.

I now made a complete installation with FF 3.6.2 .. because I do not have IE installed on the PC I'm working on at the moment.

Fixed during this installation nearly all XHTML compliance errors and warnings (two left ... refresh() couldn't be done on an other place).

May you test it again with IE ... maybe I install IE 8 on this PC because of more and more tickets opened by using IE8.

Oh .. by the way .. you now have the actual developer release of the installer on your server ...  

 

I have create another subdomain for my translation on the rc4 730. I work on this for the moment.
I have create subdomain test3 for testing install in 1360.
I test new install tomorrow or in this night.
I leave these files on FTP if you need it and i don't remove the data base.

as I could see, you was inside Administration - therefore you deleted all install files.
I uploaded them once again.

Meanwhile I have installed IE8 latest edition and see what you meant. I get the error too you reported.

So I must have again a look into ...

Ok ... finished.

Now it works too with IE8.
It was the mime type as I always speculated at.

Uploaded onto your server inside the directory test.
