Hi Luckyluciano,

we have intergrated the Category Hierarchy Mod in our Standard.
So every German Edition has those extension.

As far as Tec has decided, it will not be included into 2.1.0 Standard - but will be available buildin with 2.1.0GER01 Edition.

At the moment you have two possibilities:
1. You wait until 2.1.0 is released.
2. You can Download our 1.0.2GER01 from the Download section. This version is not in whole the 2.0 from US (I didn`t integrate at that time the Ajax technology and the wysiwyg extension)

Oh ... I have added the donation manually ... sorry for this but I had no time until now to fix the problem here

If I got enough time, I will update the Cat mod so people can install it on their sites again. I will also create premodded files but this will take quite a lot of time.  

 

The time, is a problem of many, the projects are many and often many of they come leave half.  It would be beautiful to see the mod updates,  I could install it on my site. Thanks however to all for the support.  

 

Well, this will be more of a priority than other mods to me so maybe you see it soon. But I can tell you that you won't see it before Evo 2.1.0 is out. I'm not going to make that twice

Question:

Why make a mod if 2.1.0GER will have this mod included ?
2.1.0GER and 2.1.0US will be identical except one Mod::
- Category Hierarchy Mod

All other Mods we have here (Post-Icon, Board-Message XL, Overall Forum Permission, Extended Group Settings, Rebuild Search) will be included into 2.1.0 Basic.
So the only difference will be the Category Hierarchy Mod any more.
It`s a wish from Technocrat to bring both Versions more together, but Tec don`t want to include the Category Hierarchy as standard into any US Basic Edition.  

 

Didn't know that it's almost identical.

But the GER version isn't meant to work with US or do I understand something wrong here? Also, how can a user install the cat mod when they're using the US version? Do you have the cat mod for the German users as a mod only?  

 

Hey Rodmar,

at the moment those are different versions (as the version no. states).
2.1.0  development is parallel. Means German and US Edition are both coming together to make one new 2.1.0.
The only difference then will be the Category Hierarchy Mod (as I see it at the moment).
So after finishing 2.1.0 we only have to take the difference between US and GER Edition and the extract will be the Cat Mod.
Users then have the choice to either only copy the files needed or to manually add the code (if they have build in mods).
